Round 4: Severn Valley Rally, 4 June

Alex Allingham secured a maximum points haul on the Severn Valley Rally, finishing third overall behind non-championship runners Wug Utting and Bob Ceen.

David Howells was second of the championship competitors in fourth, despite an overshoot into a firebreak on SS2.

Meanwhile Tom Cave’s run of bad luck continued when his power steering failed 400 yards into the first stage, leaving him fifth overall at the end of the event and third among the championship drivers.
