RML AD Group gearing up for Le Mans 24 Hours

The RML AD Group HPD-ARX successfully passed through scrutineering to complete the first stage in the build-up to this year's Le Mans 24 Hours.

Merely having a car ready for technical inspection in the city centre at Le Mans was a significant achievement for the team, following the destruction of the former De Ferran Motorsports "tub" in practice for the Spa 1000 Kilometres.

The replacement chassis arrived just a week before the car was due for despatch to France, and the team at Wellingborough worked against the clock to have the car rebuilt in time for a pre-event shakedown at Snetterton last Friday.

It will be a busy few days for Ben Collins, following the announcement that the ACO has agreed to stock the recently released paperback edition of his autobiography; The Man in the White Suit, in the official ACO Boutique at the Musée des 24 Heures, just outside the main entrance to the circuit. Ben will be signing copies of his book on Tuesday afternoon, during the official autograph session, and also in the Boutique on Friday between 14:30 and 15:30.
