Motoring companies Subaru and Motul have both been confirmed as official sponsors of the Isle of Man TT Races.

Motul, one of Europe’s biggest motorcycle lubricants and lubrication companies, has been named as the official lubricants partner of the two-week motorcycle festival in a deal that will see them become title sponsors for a new team award.

The Motul Technical Team Award, presented to the best performing team at the Isle of Man TT Races, has been created as part of the sponsorship extension.

Meanwhile, American car manufacturer Subaru has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal to become the official car of the Isle of Man TT Races, in an agreement that will see them run a US specification Subaru WTX STI on several timed laps of the famous Road Course in Douglas.

Financial terms and the exact durations of the sponsorships were not released. The 2011 Isle of Man TT Races is held between Monday 30th May and Friday 10th June.
