All eyes are on the skies as the 2011 Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy continues.
Wednesday’s racing was abandoned due to rain and re-scheduled for today. The programme is due to start at 12.15pm with the four-lap Monster Energy Supersport 2 TT.
It is due to continue at 2.15pm with the second Sure Sidecar race, over three laps, and then a practice lap for the PokerStars Senior TT is scheduled for 3.50pm.
At 4.30pm, rally star Mark Higgins is due to take to the course for his second Subaru demonstration lap and then the one-lap SES TT Zero race is due to get under way at 5.15pm.
As ever, the entire programme is subject to the weather, and although there is bright sunshine over the Isle of Man at the moment (9.30am), the forecasts have warned of the possibilities of showers.
The Mountain section of the course is scheduled to close at 11am, with the rest of the course closing at 11.30am. Roads are provisionally scheduled to re-open from 5.35pm, starting at St Ninian’s.
Crossing points will not be opened during the day.
