Round 4: Thruxton, 12 June
Calum Lockie and Paul White triumphed in a shortened fourth round, which was blighted by pouring rain and three Safety Car periods.
Lockie, starting from the back of the grid in the Strata 21 Mosler after qualifying issues, took the lead from Nigel Mustill’s Aquilla eight laps in, and was kept honest thereafter by Andy Schulz in Paul Bailey’s Class 3 Challenge-spec Ferrari 430.
A storming drive by veteran Jon Harrison secured third place in the Topcats Marcos shared with Owen O’Neill, while Class 2 honours were taken by the Dodge Viper of Aaron Scott and Craig Wilkins, despite two pit stops for a puncture and windscreen misting issues.
