Round 3: Forrest Lodge, 11-12 June

Dan Lofthouse beat former champion Richard Kershaw to victory at Forrest Lodge near Dalry.

Kershaw set the quickest times on the opening two runs in his GSR 206 Evo 9 to establish a six-second lead over Lofthouse in his Lofthouse Freelander. However, by the fourth run Lofthouse had replaced Kershaw at the top of the leaderboard, and by the end of day one he held a 31-second lead.

Lofthouse continued his scintillating pace on day two to record the fastest times on all five runs and extend his lead over Kershaw to more than a minute by the finish. Ian Rochelle rounded off the top three in his Millington Mattserati.
