Rounds 5 & 6: Glan y Gors, 11-12 June

Ben Barnicoat monopolised the spoils at the twisty North Wales circuit of Glan y Gors, where he won both Finals.

Barnicoat was dominant in the first Final, which he won by almost seven seconds from Roy Johnson. “Ben’s got his wet set-up just right, but it’s good to get points on Callan and George,” said Johnson.

Barnicoat then resisted pressure from George Russell in the second Final to take another victory. “It was lucky there was a false start first time round as my engine had oiled up, then with two laps to go George tried to lunge me,” said Barnicoat, who has leapt from sixth to third in the championship standings.
