Indie comes early for Sieders Racing

Sieders Racing are celebrating the addition of their latest Team Member with the birth of their third grandchild in under two years, at Penrith Private Hospital yesterday (18thAugust 2011).

Indiana Rose Sieders was born 10:38am on 18thAugust 2011 to proud parents, AIS National V8 Ute Driver, David Sieders and wife Rochelle, weighing 3.48kg (7lb 6oz in the old scale) and 50.5cm in length.

“We’re over the moon,” said Sieders, “This pregnancy has definitely had more than its share of scares along the way, but now we’ve got what every parent wants – a happy and healthy baby”.

“It’s was a long sleepless night, with Rochelle being induced at 8pm the night before, but we’re just so happy and excited that our little girl is out now, a good size and weight, and doing everything right.”

Originally due on 23rdAugust, the couple’s doctor decided to bring forward inducing the labour by almost a week after the mother-to-be experienced growing abdominal pain.

“The only way to remove the pain and pressure was to induce the labour,” said Sieders, “we were booked in to have the labour induced next week anyway, so it seemed unnecessary and pointless to have Rochelle in pain for an extra couple of days”.

Indiana creates the pigeon pair for the proud parents, and big brother, 21 month old Ashton, is wrapped with the arrival of his baby sibling.

“Ashton is absolutely loving having his little sister...we’ll just have to make sure he doesn’t literally lover her to bits,” laughed Sieders.

Sieders, who currently sits fourth in the Enzed V8 Ute Driver Leaderboard, is hoping to bring his family home this weekend.

"I think, like every new parent, the real fun starts when you get the whole family home, and hopefully Rochelle and Idiana will be able to come home on Saturday."

Sieders will be on track when the Auto One V8 Ute Series - protected by Armor All resumes at Mount Panorama Street Circuit, Bathurst (NSW), 6 - 9th October 2011.
