Sunday 28th August
Having looked around this new venue in early 2011, Rideoffroaduk found it would be ideally suited to the big bank holiday event which will happen this weekend.
This venue can only be used once per year when the crop is removed so don't miss out.
The venue located less than half a mile outside Gisburn in Lancashire, it offers a fresh new valley full of Stubble fields with a host of other features thrown in for good measure.
This event will be a fast flowing track which will form round 8 of the Doodson Motorsport Championship for 2011. The paddock and camping area is located only meters from a great access road, the paddock is totally flat, and we see no problems getting vans campers and caravans on and off the site.
The weekend starts on Saturday (27th August) afternoon with a structured Wayne Braybrook training day starting at 1pm. Sunday (28th August) morning sees the usual youth event running, before the adult sportsman, beginners, vets and ladies take their turn on track at 10am for a 2 hour thrash.
After a short break for morning results and presentation, it will be the turn of the Expert, Clubman and Over40 riders to do battle on what will be a will run in track. We expect all corners to berm up nicely with the soil base, these will compliment the odd stream crossing and short sprints through the tree lined hedges which surround the site.
Please make sure your exhaust is re packed if it has not been done this year.
ALL 4 strokes must be of Enduro exhaust spec, or they must be fitted with a DB killer.
The Ribble Valley is a sensitive area, we aim to work with the local authorities to further responsible motor sports events in the area.
