Round 5: Toddsleap Ulster Rally NI, 19-20 August

MSA Team UK graduate Marty McCormack scored the first ever victory for an R3 car in the MSA British Rally Championship on the Ulster Rally.

McCormack’s win was also the first for a two-wheel-drive car since 2000. Co-driven by David Moynihan, McCormack led from the first stage onwards to triumph by well over a minute.

Second place also went to a two-wheel-drive car – the R3 Renault Clio of Tommy Doyle and Liam Moynihan. David Bogie and Kevin Rae took the final podium spot to extend their championship lead.
