Rebellion Racing secure LMP1 Petrol pole

Nicolas Prost secured the 5th overall place on the grid for today's 6 hours of Silverstone, placing the #12 Lola-Toyota at the head of the non diesel LMP cars.

Jean-Christophe BOULLION and the Lola-Toyota #13 will start from  8th position.

Leaving the pit at the early part of the qualifying session, Nicolas Prost had to wait until the 11th lap to set his best time, placing the #12 Lola-Toyota at the head of the petrol powered cars. As the french driver said to his team by radio at the end of the session : « Never give up ! ». He finally found a clear lap and a more or less dry track to achieve his best result, finishing the qualifying session with the 5th best laptime of 1'47''684.

The session was less profitable for Jean-Christophe BOULLION and the #13 Lola-Toyota who secured 8th place on the starting grid. Jean-Christophe took to the track later to try to take the benefit of better track conditions. Unfortunately, the french driver couldn't find a clear lap. He finished the qualifying session in 8th place with a laptime of 1'48''287 less than half a second in front of the Pescarolo car, the main competitor of REBELLION Racing for the Le Mans Series championship.

The start of the race will be at 11h35 today, Sunday 11th.
