Round 4: Santa Pod Raceway, 8-11 September

Swedish racers dominated the Pro Modified category in the European Finals at Santa Pod, where the penultimate round of the MSA British Championship combined with the FIA European Championship decider.

Urban Johansson beat Johan Lindberg in the final, while another Swede, Michael Gullqvist, secured the FIA crown after taking pole position in the 16-car eliminations field.

MSA British Championship leaders Graham Ellis and Roger Moore both qualified in the lower half of the field and were defeated in the opening round, with Moore falling victim to Johansson. Britain’s Bert Englefield reached the second round after entering eliminations as a substitute for Andy Robinson.
