HEL Riders Have A Strong Weekend at Silverstone BSB

The Penultimate round of the British Superbike season took place this weekend at Silverstone Circuit. The 'Final Showdown' continues to heat up and the racing once again proved to be exciting.

Three HEL brake-line users Josh Brookes, Shakey Byrne and Ryuichi Kiyonari are all still in with a shout of becoming the 2011 British Superbike Champion at the final round at Brands Hatch in a couple of weeks time.

Both races were close racing and Aussie Josh Brookes on the Relentless Suzuki rode a faultless second race and took his second win of the season and put himself firmly back in line to win the title.

Brookes was not the only Relentless Suzuki rider to change the tables around in the British Supersport class, Alastair Seeley entered Silverstone 36 points behind Championship leader Ben Wilson and after two stunning rides in both races and Ben crashing out in race one and suffering a machine problem in race two, Seeley heads to Brands now leading the Championship by 14 points, an unbelievable turn around and with three races at Brands Hatch the weekend will be extremely exciting.

The Triumph Triple Challenge riders all using HEL brake lines, newly crowned Triple Challenge Champion Luke Jones took a solid win in race one and was unfortunate to go out of the lead on Sunday with a machine problem handing the win to Tommy Dale who took his first victory of the season.
