Round 12: Warco (Peterborough Motor Club), 25 September

A delighted David Rance won a closely fought, low-scoring Warco trial by the scant margin of a single point from championship leader Ian Bell.

Reigning Champion Ian Wright was a further two points away in third, while Thomas Bricknell, winner of the last three rounds, had to be content with fourth place on 19 points.

Richard Robarts finished 11th overall to win the intermediate class, while Ian Fullwood won the novice class from John Cole. The Kincraft of Tom and Elizabeth Stevenson was the highest placed Beam Axle car.
