Lotus cars has announced that it will be bringing the Lotus Exige to Top Marques Monaco, the luxury motoring event taking place in April 22-25, 2004. Other exhibitors taking part in the event include; Spyker, Koenigsegg, Pagani, Wysstec, Laraki, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, Morgan and Carat Duchatelet.
Marco Feser, General Manager of Lotus Cars Europe said; “This is going to be one of the first events where people will be able to get up close and personal with the new Exige. We expect that Top Marques Monaco will be an intimate, quality event.”
“The Lotus Exige bears all of the hallmarks of a true racer with large air intakes and front splitter dominating the cars aggressive front stance. The Exige performs as dynamically as it looks, powered by a 190 hp, 1.8 litre, 4 cylinder engine revving to around 8350 rpm, mated close to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Exige will sweep effortlessly past 100 kmh in under 5 seconds. We are looking forward to the reaction that we know this car will stimulate at Top Marques in April.”
