New officially licensed T-shirt collection celebrates nearly 70 years of one of motorsport’s most iconic comic-book heroes

RetroClassic Clothing has launched a new collection of officially licensed Michel Vaillant T-shirts, bringing the unmistakable artwork and racing adventures of Jean Graton’s legendary motorsport hero to a new generation of enthusiasts.

Created in 1957 by French-Belgian cartoonist Jean Graton, Michel Vaillant has become one of motorsport’s most enduring fictional heroes. For almost 70 years, his adventures have captured the drama, danger and excitement of motor racing, blending fictional storylines with the real world of Formula One, Le Mans and some of the sport’s greatest races, cars and personalities.

The new RetroClassic collection celebrates that remarkable heritage through a series of striking designs featuring the distinctive artwork, cars and characters associated with Michel Vaillant. Combining the nostalgia of the original comics with contemporary automotive fashion.

Each T-shirt is hand-printed to order at RetroClassic Clothing’s Wiltshire base on ethically produced, 100% cotton garments with a contemporary fit. Reflecting the international appeal of Michel Vaillant and his huge following across Europe, all designs are available in English, French, Flemish and German language.

The T-shirts are available in sizes XS to 4XL and are priced at £24 including VAT.
