An extremely happy and confident Tom was interviewed on the main stage on Friday and revealed he has a contract with Honda and hopes to be challenging for victories this year in the Arena Motorsport run Civic type R. He commented;

" I am very pleased to be back behind the wheel of the Honda this season. Last year's car was extremely competitive, but I've been to the factory and seen the developments that are on-going for the new cars and they will be even better. There will be some substantial modifications even though externally the cars will be very similar ".

As revealed last week, Tom will begin testing the developments during the last week of January at Albacete in Spain and the test program will continue throughout the build up to this season's first race weekend at Thruxton in April.

" There is a lot of work to get through and I can't wait to get started. It will be great to work with my engineer - Richard Owen and the rest of the team again to improve our chances of success ".
