Kevin Broadhurst is among the first drivers to commit to the 2004 Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship.
The Silverstone-based driver will contest class C2 in his Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico and is aiming to go even better than the fourth in class he clinched in 2003. "C2 is such a good class. It's very competitive," says Broadhurst.
As ever, Broadhurst's season will have to fit around work commitments, but he plans to tackle most, if not all, of the nine events on the calendar. His Sportsview company is responsible for hospitality facilities for the BMW Williams F1 test team and the Subaru WRC test team.
The Escort is currently being refettled ready for the new season, and Broadhurst will start his campaign on the Robin Hood Historic Forest Stages in early March. Backing for the season will come from Monogram team wear and Earls Performance Products.
