Rupert Lewin Racing Ltd will mount a three-car challenge in the Michelin Porsche Open Series in 2004. The squad will be headed by team boss Rupert Lewin in his mighty 996 GT2R, one of the most spectacular cars of the 2003 British racing season.
Lewin is aiming to build on his race-winning form of 2003, having been the major challenger to category pacesetter Richard Chamberlain. Several times in 2003 Lewin came close to toppling Chamberlain in a straight fight, and he will resume that quest when the new season opens at Croft on 17/18 April.
Joining Lewin in the three-car team will be former Porsche Cup champion John Bussell in the team's 964 Turbo and Hong Kong-based Martin Dodge in the Carrera 996 in which he started his racing career part way through 2003.
As before, mechanical support for the team will be provided by Steve Winter at Jaz Motorsport.
