Ben Memorabilia Auction at Brooklands

The annual motorsport memorabilia auction will take place at the Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey on Saturday 14 February 2004.  Viewing is from 11am to 1.00pm with the auction starting at 2.00pm.

The auction, organised by Bonhams at no cost to BEN, is one of the highlights of a now well-established Motorsport Weekend at the Brooklands Museum on 14/15 February.  Amongst the exciting items donated already received is a signed Michael Schumacher cap sent from Ferrari Technical Director, Ross Brawn; a T-shirt signed by Petter Solberg, current World Rally Champion donated by Prodrive, and a framed print 'Tribute to Fangio' by Richard Wheatland, signed by Fangio and the artist.

All proceeds from the auction are donated to BEN - the motor and allied trades benevolent fund.  Founded in 1905 it offers practical help, support, advice and friendship to more than 15,750 men and women and their families both in their own homes and in the four residential centres throughout the UK and one day care centre in Coventry.

To donate an item or receive details of the BEN auction, please contact BEN on 01344 620191 or e-mail: gordon.creese@ben.org.uk
