Zele-Racing confirms its engineering staff for Superfund Euro3000

Zele-Racing team will have one of the strongest engineering line-ups in the paddock. Both Chief Engineer James Harvey Spencer (GB) and Data Engineer Yan Gleyo (FRA) will be working once more for the Austrian based squad and switching to the all new Superfund Euro3000 championship.

Harvey Spencer, who began his racing career back in 1978 being leadmechanic at Brabham Alfa in F1, working later for McLaren as well asBrabham BMW - winning the F1 championship with Nelson Piquet and AlainProst.

Team Principal Michael Zele: "Harvey knows the F3000 chassis very well from his time at Astromega being Team Manager and Engineer, finishing 3rd back in 1996 with Marc Goosens.

"Further we have Yan who brings 3 years of F1 experience (Prost GP) to the team as well. Both engineers worked for us in 2003 in the Superfund World Series by Nissan. I am happy that both have decided to stay with the team  in 2004."

During a Team Managers meeting in Monaco last Thursday the final racecalender was presented to the teams. A first common test will be held on30th and 31st March in Vallelunga (Italy). The championship kicks off inEnna-Pergusa on 2nd May.
