The great and the good of British music will gather at Earls Court inLondon tonight for the annual BRIT Awards.  Mega rock band The Darknesshave received four nominations, Best British Group, British Rock Act,British Breakthrough Artist and the prestigious Album of the Year awardfor their smash hit 'Permission to Land'.

The Darkness appeared at Rockingham last August and sponsored a car inthe Days of Thunder series. To celebrate this close association with theUK's top rock act, Rockingham is providing The Darkness with a mode oftransport that fits in with their Rock Star image, delivering them instyle to the awards ceremony - a 1969 V8 powered Ford Mustang.

ITV2 are showing the arrival of all the top acts at 7pm, with the mainaward ceremony being shown on ITV from 8pm.

As well as The Darkness, two other BRIT nominees will be seen atRockingham in 2004.  Both Lemar and Jamelia, who have both received twonominations, will be appearing at Rockingham on Sunday June 6th.
