Camier in hospital after Turkish WSB crash

FIXI Crescent Suzuki's Leon Camier suffered a huge high-side in the early stages of this morning's first free practice at Istanbul in Turkey which has led to the Englishman needing further investigations to the injuries sustained in the accident.

Camier crashed at high-speed on the exit of turn-eight on the dusty, low-grip Turkish circuit and was immediately assessed at the track. The initial prognosis points towards a broken Metatarsal in his right foot, as well as other injuries to his ankle and lower leg. He is now on the way to hospital in Istanbul for in-depth examinations and scans to determine the extent of his injury.

A decision on his ability to take any further part in this weekend's proceedings will be taken once confirmation on the condition of Camier is received from the hospital.

FIXI Crescent Suzuki will release any information on Camier's well-being as soon as it is available.
