MSA British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 9: Robin Alexander, 14 September

Ian Bell won the Robin Alexander trial with an impressive total score of 10 marks, with reigning champion Tom Bricknell second on 14.

George Watson won the intermediate class in third overall – his best ever placings on an MSA British Championship round. Bryan Walker was the best novice in 11th overall.

Round 10: David Ayers, 15 September

Ian Bell won the second event of the Cornish weekend, the David Ayers trial, amid wet and windy conditions.

Bell dropped just 19 marks en route to victory; Duncan Stephens was second on 33, ahead of Tom Bricknell on 38. Roger Bracknell, who raised money for charity by selling a passenger ride, was fourth ahead of intermediate class winner Jon Moores in his new MSR. John Cole won the novice class.
