Once again Luke Mossey returned to fine form this weekend in Assen after missing the previous three rounds after breaking some vertebrae at Oulton Park. Luke had two very solid results in Assen on the Teccare Profile Triumph bike in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship securing fourth in race one and seventh in race two.The weekend started well in Assen and Luke was consistently within the top six of the times sheets. He was eager for a good qualifying and ended up on the front row in third place. He got a great start in both races and was putting up a good fight in both dicing for a podium position in both the sprint and main race. With him missing six weeks on a bike it was tiredness and pain that got the better of Luke towards the end of each race.Luke Mossey - "This year has been such a rollercoaster for me, I was injured at Brands and returned at Snetterton to the podium. I then broken some vertebrae at Oulton so was forced to miss another three rounds and I'm really pleased to have come back at Assen and been able to put on a good fight and mix it with the leaders. It's been a difficult season physically and mentally and always trying to get back to full fitness when my main aim is just to race and do well. It was good to come back at Assen and put the Teccare Profile Triumph on the front row, I had two really good races and both times I was fighting for a podium place.I'm really happy with fourth and seventh and did try really hard, my only complaint was that towards the end of both races I was in a lot of pain with my back. Obviously racing is extremely physical and despite the rest I have had I know it is still healing. I should be even better for Silverstone so I'm really looking forward to the final two rounds of the Championship.I'd like to thank everyone at the Teccare Profile Triumph team and hope we can finish the season on a high note."
