Round 5: PF International, 21-22 September
Daniel Ticktum beat pole-sitter Jehan Daruvala to victory in both finals at PFI, despite losing ground in the title race after succumbing to technical problems in a heat.
Ticktum worked his way into contention in the first final, and after taking the lead he left Enaam Ahmed and Jehan Daruvala to dispute the remaining podium places; Daruvala just managed to pip Ahmed on the run to the finish line.
In the second final Ticktum made an early escape in the lead while Daruvala and Ahmed traded second. Meanwhile Ross Martin came in fourth in both finals, and Manual Maldonado, younger brother of the Williams F1 driver Pastor Maldonado, was 14th in both on his first visit to the circuit.
