Young Brit Danny Webb To Ride For Circuit Of Wales

Circuit of Wales has announced its sponsorship of budding British rider Danny Webb for the final two rounds of the 2013 World Supersport Championship.Webb, who recently moved from Moto3 to take his seat with the PTR Honda team, will be taken under the wing of the multipurpose Welsh development project in their drive to raise the profile of emerging British motorsport talent.Earlier this year the Circuit of Wales project, undertaken by the Heads of the Valleys Development Company Ltd, was granted planning approval for a spectacular £280m initiative in Blaenau Gwent. It will shine a global spotlight on the region and provide an opportunity to promote and nurture aspiring racers through its race circuit, driver academy and training facility. The state-of-the-art complex is due to be completed in 2015/16 and is designed to host international motorsport events and will be a centre for motorsport-related industries.Webb's PTR Honda will feature the Circuit of Wales logo and track outline, highlighting the project's commitment to the development of young British motorsport talent.Michael Carrick, Chief Executive of the Heads of the Valleys Development Company Ltd"We are delighted to be able to work with another exciting young prospect like Danny.
