Sebastien Loeb rolled his Citroen DS3 near the start of today's opening stage, SS15.
The nine-times world champion’s final WRC rally ended when his Citroen DS3 slid wide on a right-hand corner and rolled before coming to rest on its roof in a ditch.
Loeb, competing in the WRC rally in his home region, was one of four drivers starting the final leg covered by just 5.0sec.
Neither Seb nor his co-driver Daniel Elena were injured in the crash.
