Joe Collier racing on the Haribo Starmix Triumph had a steady weekend at round 11 of the Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship at Silverstone gaining 10th place in the re-run 7-lap race. In the original race Joe got a good start but the race was red flagged on the opening lap due to an incident. They re-grouped for the second race and Joe was run wide and off the track early in the race and this caused him to drop back down the pack to 12th place. He fought hard to try and re-gain the lost time but was only able to secure 10th place at the end of the 7-lap race.Joe Collier - "I'm a little disappointed with my results today as I was hoping for another podium as I know this is a track I have done well at in the past. I got a good start in the opening race and managed to get away with the leaders but the race was stopped before we'd even completed a lap.On the re-start I didn't get off the line very well and the opening laps were really messy and everyone was scraping for position. I got nudged and had to run wide and off the track I came back on track but I'd lost a lot of places and a big gap from the riders in front. I tried to get my head down and make up some places but I just didn't have enough laps to do anything. I was struggling a little with the set-up of my bike all weekend and I just wasn't able to catch the pack in front. I'm hoping for a good race result at the final round at Brands Hatch."
