Motors TV Weekend Highlights

The highlight of this weekend's Motors TV action comes from Mount Panorama as we bring you live and uninterrupted coverage of the iconic Bathurst 1000.In terms of a favourite, look no further than living V8 Supercars legend Jamie Whincup and team-mate Paul Dumbrell. The Triple Eight pair conquered the rock 12 months ago, while Whincup currently tops the series standings and was victorious last time out at Sandown. But they'll not have it easy, with half a dozen driver crews capable of winning the series’ blue riband event. Motors TV's coverage begins at 22.30 with a replay of the top-10 qualifying shootout before build up for the main event gets underway at 23.30.The 2013 FIA European F3 season has developed something of a pattern: Raffaele Marciello builds a significant points lead, only to go off the boil and allow Felix Rosenqvist to close up in the overall standings. The Italian is recovering from a weekend to forget at Zandvoort and now has his Swedish rival just 9.5 points in arrears, but what better place for the Ferrari protégé to reassert his dominance than his home circuit of Vallelunga? Motors TV has live coverage of all three races. While the terrestrial channels may have their assemblage of reality horror-shows, Saturday night on Motors TV means NASCAR Nationwide Series. This week we've got delayed-as-live action from Charlotte Motor Speedway and, with just four rounds remaining, the title battle continues to escalate. Austin Dillon seized a slender eight-point advantage over long-time rival Sam Hornish in Kansas, while Regan Smith kept himself in the hunt with a fine run to third. We've also got live coverage of the Superstars International season finale from Vallelunga. The title appears to be a foregone conclusion, with Gianni Morbidelli now 32 points clear atop the standings having won six of the past eight events. The Audi driver looks unstoppable in his pursuit of a fourth series crown, and it will take a herculean effort from rivals Thomas Biagi and Tonio Liuzzi to overhaul him.Miss last weekend's live British GT showdown from Donington Park? Fear not, we've got highlights from the nail-biting title decider that saw the destination of the championship change lap by lap. Undoubtedly a fitting end to the series' most competitive campaign to date…Dates and times for our top weekend picks are below, or visit www.motorstv.com/tv-guide-uk for the full UK schedule.Saturday 12 October 11:00 V8 Utes, Rd 5, Sandown13:00 FIM International Six Days of Enduro 14:30 Sydney to London Marathon Preview15:45 LIVE FIA F3 European Championship, Rd 9, Vallelunga – Race 117:25 VW Racing Cup UK, Donington Park17:55 British GT, Rd 7, Donington Park20:00 NASCAR Nationwide Series, Rd 30, Charlotte (Delayed)22:30 V8 Supercars Shootout, Rd 11, Bathurst 1000 (Delayed)23:30 LIVE V8 Supercars, Rd 11, Bathurst 1000Sunday 13 October09:40 LIVE FIA F3 European Championship, Rd 9, Vallelunga – Race 210:50 LIVE Superstars International Series, Rd 8, Vallelunga – Race 111:55 NASCAR Nationwide Series, Rd 30, Charlotte (Highlights)13:40 LIVE FIA F3 European Championship, Rd 9, Vallelunga – Race 315:00 LIVE Superstars International Series, Rd 8, Vallelunga – Race 216:20 V8 Supercars, Rd 11, Bathurst 1000 (Highlights)19:25 FIA F3 European Championship, Rd 9, Vallelunga (Highlights)21:30 Superstars International Series, Rd 8, Vallelunga (Replay)All times are BST
