F1 reserve driver De Villota has been found dead in a hotel room in Seville, Spain.

Daughter of ex-Formula 1 racer Emilio de Villota, Maria was a former World Touring Car Championship and Superleague Formula driver. She suffered severe head and facial injuries, and lost her right eye in a crash while testing for the Marussia team last year after colliding with a lorry
