The television coverage of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C Rally Championship on Motors TV will continue on Sunday 20 October with the report from the sixth and final round of the season, the Trackrod Historic Cup.Importantly, the location of Motors TV has changed and it can now be found at channel 447.Starting at 9pm on Motors TV, the primetime programme will cover all the action as Matt Edwards and Elliott Edmondson scored a famous and popular victory over the classic Yorkshire stages. Several repeat showings will include 12noon on Monday 21 October.After a season of mixed fortunes, the North Wales driver turned in a superb performance with his Ford Escort Mk2 to win the Historic Cup again strong opposition. Edwards went ahead in the stages in the darkness of Friday evening and stayed ahead through Saturday’s stages.In series two, the Porsche 911 of Tim Mason and Graham Wild moved ahead when Richard Hill/Patrick Cooper suffered gearbox problems with their Escort Mk1, but the mighty 1600cc Escort Mk1 of Vince Bristow/Tim Sayer was only a minute behind.The programme will cover all the action including the stages in Staindale and Dalby in the darkness of Friday evening. David Winstanley of rallytv.co.uk is filming all rounds of the championship and captures all the action from the stages as well as the very best in-car footage. Each round of the 2013 championship will be reported in a dedicated stand-alone programme, while a mid-season review and a two-hour end-of-season review will mean at least 15 hours of prime coverage.
