Monster Energy MSA British Rallycross Championship

Round 8, Croft: 20 October 2013Andy Scott took victory at Croft in the final round of the MSA British Rallycross. The Albatec Racing Peugeot 208 headed home local favourite Kevin Procter in his Ford Focus, while the drive of the day came from Marc Scott, who took third overall in the Peugeot 306, and his first ever Supercar outing.Early morning rain gave way to a dryer afternoon and as the times got better everything looked good for the finals. At the start Andy Scott, got the better of pole sitter Anton Marklund in his VW Polo and took the lead, never to be headed. Procter also passed Marklund and slotted into second behind Scott. Fourth was 2013 British Champion Godfrey in the Ford Fiesta. Along the back straight Godfrey went to pass Marklund, and the cars touched and Marklund spun off and retired with broken steering.
