Zele Racing to line-up Richard Gonda at Jerez AutoGP test

A new driver has joined the roster for the upcoming Auto GP test set for the 28th and 29th of October at Jerez. Zele Racing reached an agreement with Richard Gonda, a Slovenian driver born on the 14th of March, 1994. Gonda is currently fighting for the European Formula 3 Open title in the Copa Class, featuring the older, 2008-spec cars.

In the closing race of the season, the Austrian squad fielded Tamas Pal Kiss and Josef Kral while their line-up also included two former F1 drivers, Narain Karthikeyan and Christian Klien. Zele Racing also had the chance to celebrate a win, scored by former Formula 2 Champion Luciano Bacheta.

Michael Zele: “Testing at Jerez is the best possible way to start planning the 2014 season. We found an agreement with Richard to put him in the seat in Spain and we're curious to see how a driver coming from Formula 3 will adapt to a 550-horsepower car on such a demanding circuit”.
