UKRAINIAN SQUAD TOPS AUDI MTM AND OMBRA RACING TEAM (FERRARI) WITH 5 WINS ON THE ROAD

It's been a successful season for Team Ukraine in GTSPRINT as the Ferrari-powered operation proved fast-paced since the start and managed to bring home the Team's title in the SUPERSTARS WORLD OF RACING series.

In the last round of the season at Vallelunga, the Ukrainian team was able to score maximum points. In Race 1 the winning duo of Ruberti-Casè did not score points in their one-race appearance handing Andrii Kruglyk and Marco Cioci a virtual win. Then in the afternoon, Raffaele Giammaria and Andrii Kruglyk scored a large win in front of a massive crowd. As a result, Team Ukraine won the team's honours with 286 points, followed by Audi MTM (226) and by Ombra Racing Team (225).

A consistent contribution to the team's success came from Ukranian Kruglyk and Italian Giammaria, who drove the top national-coloured Ferrari 458 Italia racecar until Donington, where they scored a spectacular double win. Their toll also include a win in Czech Republic, while the other Team Ukraine drivers also paid a major role. Ruslan Tsyplakov took three podium finishes, one of them with international star Richard Westbrook at Donington. Two additional racers made their way on-track at Vallelunga, namely Cioci and Chukanov, with the latter cruising to victory in Race 1 with Giammaria.

In the meantime, Team Ukraine achieved their first goal. The next challenge is to wrap-up the drivers' championship in 2014.
