Enigma Motorsport announce BRDC F4 Winter Championship entry

Experienced Formula Ford and F3 Cup squad Enigma Motorsport have confirmed they will enter the upcoming BRDC F4 Winter Championship, with a single car operation.

The Bedfordshire team, founded in 2008, is run by Thomas Farquhar and Linton Stutely and have enjoyed success this season in the MSVR-run F3 Cup with drivers Henry Chart and Olly Rae, with Chart taking one win and three additional podium finishes. Stutely has also won multiple races in the series for the team in previous years, and is a former Formula Ford competitor.

Enigma also have a massive amount of Formula Ford experience, having run machines in the Kent, Zetec, Duratec and EcoBoost categories, notably with Finnish driver Antti Buri in 2010 in both the British and Finnish Formula Ford Championships, with Buri securing Finnish honours for the team.

“With our experience, combined with F3 knowledge and Formula Ford experience we’re confident, with the right driver, we can be at the front in the BRDC F4 Winter Championship” Team Manager Thomas Farquhar enthused. “We have been closely following the BRDC F4 Championship having been at many of the rounds with the F3 Cup, and it's quickly become apparent that this is the leading series for young drivers to graduate to from karting. We can't wait to get racing!”
