Auto GP Testing Jerez day 2

The second day of Auto GP testing at Jerez de la Frontera went underway today at the Spanish venue, and as he drove for Virtuosi UK, it was Tamas Pal Kiss to take the lead. In the final event for the 2013 Coloni-promoted series, the Hungarian topped the timesheets in both the morning and the afternoon sessions with a personal best laptime of 1’30”158. Meindert Van Buuren, who had cruised to the front yesterday driving for Super Nova International, ended up 43 thousands of a second back while Italian Kevin Giovesi, running for Ghinzani Motorsport, took third place as he was back on an Auto GP car after the final round at Brno.

Michela Cerruti (Super Nova International) also kept impressing as she edged Sergio Campana, lined-up today by Zele Racing. For him it was a new experience this season with also a new team-mate, Russian Artem Markelov. In the PM session, Pal Kiss did it all again and led Euronova Racing’s Japanese Kimiya Sato and Campana. Vincenzo Sospiri and his team also fielded Brazilian Pietro Fantin and Italian Michele Beretta.
