Speedway, Woffy needs your vote

WORLD Speedway Champion Tai Woffinden is urging his massive army of fans to help him win another major award.

Great Britain star Woffinden has been nominated for the FIM Rider of the Year and he wants as many people as possible to vote for him to help raise the profile of Speedway once again.

The Wolverhampton racer will be attending the FIM Gala Ceremony on December 1 in Monte Carlo where he will be up against other motorcycle world champions for the top honour.

Said Woffinden: "I hope as many people as possible will vote for me and I don't mean that from a purely selfish point of view."Whilst it would be a major honour for me to win the award, I'm proud to have been nominated. I would love to win it for the sport of Speedway to help raise the profile once again as this is something I'm passionate about.

"I want to be an ambassador for the sport during my time as champion and this would be perfect if I could win it for the sport as well as for myself.

"So I'm urging all my fans, get voting for me now!"

Voting ends on November 24 and everyone who votes will be automatically entered into a draw to win a range of FIM prizes.
