Sennan Fielding targets Winter Championship success on BRDC F4 return‏

Sennan Fielding has confirmed he will return to the BRDC F4 Championship to contest the Winter Championship with HHC Motorsport.

The 17 year old from Chesterfield competed in the first three rounds of the main F4 season with Douglas Motorsport, regularly running near the front of the pack and securing a best result of fifth at the DTM-supporting round on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in May.

Prior to his BRDC F4 participation, he finished second in the 2012 Ginetta Junior Championship with five wins and 10 podium finishes to his name, having finished seventh overall with one win in 2011. Fielding partners Will Palmer at the Yorkshire team and is eagerly anticipating his racing return.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back into racing!” Fielding exclaimed. “It feels like a long time coming but I’ve been able to get some good testing under my belt with the team last week and I’m confident that with the team we can go onwards and upwards. We won’t know until the weekend where we stand, but we’re confident of strong results.”

HHC Team Principal Charlie Kemp is pleased to confirm the team’s second car for the Winter Championship. “I’m delighted to confirm Sennan with the team for the Winter Championship. He showed a lot of promise during the rounds he contested early in the season, and he’s gone very well in testing with us, so we expect to be running at the front again. With Will (Palmer) and Sennan in the team, we’re expecting a very strong Winter campaign!”

The BRDC F4 Winter Championship commences on 9-10 November on the Snetterton 300 circuit in Norfolk. For more information visit www.formula4.com.
