The Auto GP Championship is ready to welcome a new team. The series, managed by Enzo Coloni, is giving its warmest welcome to Team Spirit, a Swiss-based operation that will join the Auto GP ranks in the upcoming Vallelunga test. The squad will be led by Giuseppe Fogola, a successful advertising and catering entrepreneur at international level. He will not be at his first motorsports experience as he already worked in karting competition in 2003 before establishing his structure in the Italian Formula Azzurra Championship between 2006 and 2008.

Giuseppe Fogola: “We are ready to make our way to Auto GP for next season. This is one of the best championship available both for how much it offers to the drivers and for the great conditions in which the teams can operate. We can say we are ready to manage a 550-horsepower car, powered by Zytek, to tame the double Kumho Tires compound, and rely on the support of the Eni lubricants”.

Enzo Coloni: “With the arrival of Team Spirit, the horizon of Auto GP continues to get wider. We have teams coming from all Europe with us, and the addition of a Swiss operation adds more value to our roster. I’m curious to see how a rookie team will perform with our cars compared to the more experienced teams, but I’m sure that the competition will be top-notch”.
