Eyewear brand Oakley has signed a 'multi-year' contract to work with the Ferrari Formula One team.
The pair will combine to work on technical advances and innovation, although it is not thought that the US manufacturer's logos will appear on Ferrari's cars.
The announcement was made at the United States Grand Prix over the weekend, held at the Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas, by Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali and Oakley chief executive Colin Baden.
Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso, who confirmed second place in the 2013 world championship behind the dominant Sebastian Vettel on Sunday, has had a personal deal with Oakley for the last two seasons.
