Motors TV Weekend Highlights 30 November,1 December

This weekend Motors TV heads for the Persian Gulf to bring you the concluding round of the FIA World Endurance Championship at the Bahrain International Circuit. And though the top-tier LMP1 titles are done and dusted, there's still plenty of silverware to be awarded in the desert. The LMP2 drivers' crown looks to be heading to French squad OAK Racing, but which of their pairings will prevail still hangs in the balance. The #35 line-up of Bertrand Baguette, Martin Plowman and Ricardo Gonzalez top the standings, but the sister #24 crew of Olivier Pla, Alex Brundle and David Heinemeier Hansson are within 15 points of them heading to Bahrain. The #26 G-Drive ADR entry also retains a mathematical title shot, though the Anglo-Russian squad will be relying on a disastrous weekend for OAK.The GTE Pro championship is tighter still, with just 5.5 points between the lead Aston Martin of Stefan Mucke from Ferrari duo Giancarlo Fisichella and Gimmi Bruni, who will pilot separate cars this weekend as the Italian squad look to maximise their title chances. Aston hold an 8.5 advantage over AF Corse-Ferrari in the GTE Pro teams standings, while the British marque lead the 8Star-Ferrari by five in the GTE Am contest. On Sunday evening we have live coverage of the FIM Gala when the great and the good of motorcycle racing descend on Monaco for their end-of-season bash. The biggest prize of all will be awarded to 20-year-old sensation Marc Marquez, who stunned the establishment by winning the MotoGP crown at his first attempt. And with Spanish riders dominating the top three tiers of grand prix motorcycling this year, expect the cerveza to flow well into the night. Before that we’re taking a look back at the 2013 American Le Mans Series campaign, which represented the category's final hurrah before merging with Grand-Am in 2014. Highlights include blue riband events at Sebring and Road Atlanta, both of which will be carried over to the new United SportsCar Championship. We're also reviewing the 2013 Superstars Series, where former Ferrari F1 racer Gianni Morbidelli claimed a fourth title in his mighty Audi Sport Italia RS5. Other star turns included championship runner-up Giovanni Berton, multiple race-winner Tonio Liuzzi and Belgian hot-shoe Laurens Vanthoor, who claimed the Rookie Trophy despite contesting just one double-header event.Saturday 30 November08:10 Bike World – Episode 2311:30 LIVE FIA World Endurance Championship, Rd 8, Bahrain18:55 Superstars International Series Season Review (Part 1)21:00 Superstars International Series Season Review (Part 2)23:05 V8 Supercars, Rd 13, Phillip Island (Highlights)Sunday 1 December08:35 Inside Grand Prix – Best of 201309:00 The Racing Insiders – Episode 909:35 FIA World Endurance Championship, Rd 8, Bahrain16:50 American Le Mans Series Season Review (Part 1)18:55 American Le Mans Series Season Review (Part 2)21:00 LIVE FIM Gala Monaco All times are GMT
