Teccare Profile Triumph for Luke Mossey 2014

21-year-old Luke Mossey from Cambridge will once again contest the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship in 2014 with the Teccare Profile Triumph team. Luke had a mixed 2013 season that was troubled from the off-set by injuries. At the opening round of the Championship Luke crashed on the exit of Graham Hill Bend at Brands Hatch, landing and trapping his left ring finger underneath the bike. He lost the majority of his finger and had to have several operations to try and repair this over several months. He made a fantastic return to the Championship at round four at Knockhill, the first time he had raced the Teccare Profile Triumph all year and he gained a ninth and eighth place in the two races. He soon improved and at Snetterton he secured his first podium of the season with a stunning second place and fifth. He missed the Brands Hatch GP round after he was given an opportunity to compete in the World Supersport race in Moscow. He returned to the British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park and during the qualifying session he crashed at the first turn and broke two vertebrae in his back. Once again side-lined for three rounds he came back at Assen, still recovering but with a handful of decent results. He shone through at Silverstone where he rode a fantastic race and took his first Motorpoint British Supersport race win in the main race on the Sunday in one of the most thrilling races of the year.Luke Mossey - "This year has been very tough and challenging for me but I proved when I was fully fit that I could run up there with the best. I hope that is the last of my injuries now and that I can go into 2014 feeling confident and happy. It's great to be back with the Teccare Profile Triumph team and have the same team and also the same team-mate with Luke Stapleford. The team works really well together and I was really happy with the results I was able to get in some of the races this season. The win at Silverstone made everything all worthwhile and it was such a great feeling. I know I can be competitive next season and I'd like to hope that I will be one of the Championship contenders. It's a very tough, close and competitive class and I know what to expect and know it won't be easy. I will be training hard over the winter and eager to get to Spain testing before the season starts and then back to racing at Brands Hatch. It feels like a long off season but hopefully it will come round fairly fast. I'm pleased to be part of the team again and hope the Teccare Profile Triumph can run up at the sharp end. Thanks again must go to all my personal sponsors, plus special thanks goes to my Dad, Pete Stapleford, Teccare and Profile. If anyone is keen to help or get involved for next season then please get in touch as every little helps."Personal Sponsors 2013Sidi, Shoei, GB Racing, SMV, Teccare, Motul, Hel, Samco, Brembo, Gi Moto, Doodson, Sabre Sport, K Tech, JMC
