The GT Cup Championship, which has been supplied by premium tyre supplier Pirelli for five years, has announced its seven-round calendar ahead of the 2014 season.
Featuring some of the most spectacular cars in British racing, the GT Cup Championship will visit the country’s best known race circuits where Pirelli will be on hand to supply slick tyres in DM and DH and wet tyres in compounds to the crews competing across the various classes.
For the first time ever, the GT Cup will support a round of the Blancpain GT Sprint, previously known as the FIA GT Series – which also uses Pirelli as its official tyre supplier. From 17-18 May both the GT Cup and GT Sprint will take place at Brands Hatch GP. Donington Park, Snetterton 300, Oulton Park and Silverstone will also host rounds of the GT Cup with live Motors TV coverage confirmed for Silverstone from 7-8 June.
