ELITE League promoters have given a positive reaction to the first-ever draft of British youngsters to fill their reserve positions for next season.Picks were made at BSPA HQ on Tuesday afternoon, with thousands of followers keeping in touch with the proceedings on Twitter.A selection of club reaction will follow over the next two days:Rob Lyon (King’s Lynn – Lewis Kerr & Lewis Rose): “We came away with what we wanted. Both are local lads and they are our assets so it makes a lot of sense to use them. I think the supporters will warm to them and that will no doubt be a help to the team next year.”Alun Rossiter (Swindon – Steve Worrall & Josh Bates): “When I sat down and studied the draft list, these were the two riders I wanted, they fit the bill to perfection. It’s great news and our supporters will take them to their heart because they are keen, enthusiastic and give everything.”Matt Ford (Poole – Kyle Newman & Lee Smart): “With Kyle a banker for us, there were just a few riders left to choose from and I went for Lee. I'll be perfectly honest and admit that at this stage I don't know a great deal about him, but I did come across him when we were running the Bournemouth Buccaneers side a few seasons ago and I recall him having put some good performances in at Poole.”Graham Drury (Birmingham – Paul Starke & Simon Lambert): “I know Paul and Simon and I particularly like the fact that they are both experienced riders in comparison with some of the other reserves in the league. They both have a professional attitude with good equipment and when I spoke to them immediately after the draft process they were both delighted to be joining Birmingham Speedway.”
