I'm so pleased to be joining such a well-structured and professional team as MWR Kawasaki and I can't wait to fly into the UK early next year to start testing.I know I am ready for the challenge ahead and am under no illusions it will be a walk in the park, I know the team will give me 100% and I'll be giving it my all from the off. I'm looking forward to being part of a great championship and riding against some top riders. The season can't come round quick enough, thanks to Mark for giving me this opportunity and all my sponsors for making this possible."Team Owner Mark Webster - "I am delighted to be able to confirm that Nicolas will be partnering fellow South African James Egan in our National Superstock 1000 squad for 2014 season. Despite being only 20 years old Nicolas has five years' experience on the big bikes and has been a constant front runner in the Premium Stock 1000 class in South Africa. He is a proper character by all accounts and will certainly add a bit of spice to the BSB paddock next year.

We are looking forward to working with him immensely and am sure he will feature up at the sharp end very quickly once he has got to grips with the circuits of which he will test at everyone prior to racing at them.

2014 will see MWR Kawasaki with its strongest rider line-up yet and with newkey personnel appointments as well we aim to be challenging from the word go.

We still have one seat remaining within the team line-up for 2014 either on a 600 or a 1000 and will be making a decision on the final place early in the New Year."
