James Kellett Confirms Ginetta Junior Championship Entry For 2014

James Kellett has confirmed a title attack on the 2014 Ginetta Junior Championship, following his Ginetta Junior Rookie Cup and ATL Racing Fuel Cells Ginetta Junior Winter Series wins.The 2013 Rookie of the Year will return to Charlie Kemp & Jody Hemmings' HHC Motorsport squad which ran him to success on his debut. Looking forward to 2014, Kellett said; "My aim is to be the best I can be, I'm definitely with the right team for me - they proved that last year - so hopefully this year I can go on and win the championship."As one of only two championship newcomers to claim race wins in 2013, Kellett's debut season in the Ginetta Junior Championship earned him eight podiums, a fastest lap at Brands Hatch and an overall race win at Rockingham amongst other great results.Not only that, but the youngster was unstoppable in the ATL Racing Fuel Cells Ginetta Junior Winter Series at Snetterton in November, winning all four races and shining in both the wet and the dry.Charlie Kemp, HHC Motorsport Team Principal added; "We are delighted to confirm James with us for 2014, he has done us all proud in his maiden season and has come a long way as a driver. With his raw ability, commitment, hunger to learn as well as the testing program we have laid out for 2014 I am confident we will see him fighting for the title."Widely tipped as one to watch for 2014, 15 year old Kellett is certainly hoping to have a hat-trick of Ginetta Junior titles by this time next year.
