Eurotech Racing takes prestigious MIA Award

Eurotech Racing’s run of claiming some of the major awards in British motor sport was capped on Saturday (10 January 2014) with an outstanding accolade from the Motorsport Industry Association.The BTCC-winning team was presented with the Teamwork award during the MIA’s annual Business Excellence Awards in recognition of the close-knit squad’s achievement in winning the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship with Andrew Jordan in the Pirtek Racing Honda Civic.The award, selected by leading industry figures, was won against mighty opposition as the other teams on the shortlist included the Red Bull Racing Grand Prix team and the works Aston Martin sports car team.“I’m bowled over that our team has been recognised in the company of teams like Red Bull and Aston Martin,” said Mike Jordan from Eurotech Racing. “Winning this award is a fantastic accolade for us and completes a run of major awards: it has been an amazing time since the end of the BTCC season at Brands Hatch in October.”Jordan paid tribute to the work of his team members in earning the MIA award. “We are a small team and every member of the team has worked incredibly hard, so this award is really for them and also for our loyal sponsors who have supported us so well and made all this success possible.
