CZECH Republic international Ales Dryml is on his way back to Peterborough – to complete the team for the Panthers’ Premier League challenge.Dryml rejoins the Showground side after several previous top-flight spells with the club and is expected to be a powerful scorer at their new level.Boss Trevor Swales said: “It is a coup for the club to be able to sign a rider of Ales' calibre to race in the Premier League. I certainly hope, and believe, that he will prove to be a big star at this level.“A lot of work has gone into sorting out a deal for Ales and he has put Peterborough ahead of a lot of his other commitments.”(SPEEDWAY 2)
SHEFFIELD have completed the double signing of Leigh Lanham and Taylor Poole as they prepare for their first season under new promotion.Experienced British rider Lanham joins from Ipswich whilst Australian Poole, also a former Witches rider, joins the Tigers after sitting out the 2013 campaign.Co-promoter David Hoggart said: “We’re delighted with the riders we’ve signed and it shows our determination to make an impression at the head of the Premier League, which is where a club like Sheffield belongs.“We already had Simon (Stead) and Adam (Roynon) in the bag and Leigh and Taylor will be good acquisitions, although Taylor’s arrival here is subject to getting the necessary visa.”

KING’S Lynn asset Scott Campos has agreed to make a return to the Young Stars this season.Ipswich-based Campos missed out on racing speedway last year but now rejoins the Norfolk Arena club, leaving just two more signings required to complete their team.Manager Dale Allitt said: “Scott has gone away and worked hard on his fitness, he has invested in new equipment and is more than ready for the start of the season. “I know he can improve on his starting average this year - in fact, we have built a team that has the capability to improve throughout.”
