Carl Boardley To Return To Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup With JHR Developments

Carl Boardley Motorsport can today confirm they will once again compete in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup for 2014, running alongside current Team Champions, JHR Developments.Having joined the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup grid in 2013, the Carl Boardley Motorsport team ran the four-Time National Hot Rod World Champion to a podium position at Thruxton, as well as further top five finishes throughout the season.Going forwards, they have partnered with Steven Hunter's JHR Developments team, who ran Tom Ingram to the 2013 Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup title and currently hold the Team Champions honours following success with Rob Boston, Marcus Hoggarth and latterly, Pepe Massot.Boardley said; "We at Carl Boardley Motorsport believe that the experience and knowledge provided by working with JHR Developments will put us in good stead to attack and put us on the front foot approaching the first rounds of the season."Carl's G55 is currently at the JHR Developments workshop in Derbyshire undergoing a full winter refresh following a season's racing, and JHR Developments Team Principal Steve Hunter added; "We are delighted to welcome Carl to the JHR Developments race centre for the forthcoming season. He showed great promise during his maiden season in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, and genuinely believe podiums are on the horizon for this very talented driver."Boardley still holds the record for achieving four consecutive National Hot Rod World Championship titles with wins in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and will continue to be supported by the same team which has helped him since those early days. He will also retain the #41 he has become infamous for throughout his racing career.
